Barbara Schmidt, DVM proudly announces Tina Konyot's well known Elite Hanoverian Stallion, Liberty will be standing at Bridlewood Farm for the 2010 season. Liberty brings strong dressage and jumping bloodlines combined with modern type to North American breeders. His sire is the legendary Lauries Crusador xx, who in 2006 became the only Thoroughbred to be named Hanoverian Stallion of the year due to his tremendous influence on the improvement of the Hanoverian breed in gaits, rideability and dressage type. Liberty also brings, through his dam-line the versatility of the athletic dressage/jumping stallion Gimpel of the esteemed Gotthard G-Line plus the bloodlines of Don Carlos, the only stallion to produce two Hanoverian Stallions of the Year. Liberty is well know to dressage competitors. With his owner Tina Konyot, FEI Trainer and Competitor, Liberty was highly successful on the competitive Florida Dressage Circuit. His competition record includes many significant wins at Prix St. Georges through Grand Prix level at major shows with scores in the 70's. Tina Konyot comments, "Liberty is the easiest horse I've ever trained. He learned quicker than any other. You only have to show him something once and he has it. In one week he learned his one tempis..." Liberty was exceptionally easy to train, highly intelligent and always presented a great work ethic. Dr. Schmidt comments, "Liberty is especially well suited for crossing with mares of Donnerhall, Rubinstein and Weltmeyer descent. We are thrilled to have Liberty standing at Bridlewood Farm to pass on his exceptional qualities, pedigree and talents to his offspring. We know, like Liberty, they are destined for success in the show ring." Liberty retires from the performance arena to begin his career as a sire. Congratulations to Dan and Suzy Lopiccolo for the success of their mare "Wonderful Dreams" who was the MPT champion at the Oakwood Farms Fall Inspection. Wonderful Dreams scored an incredible 8.0 for her overall MPT score. Her sire is Oakwood Farm's Elite Stallion Widmark. |
